Grab’s Digital Bank Hiring as Singapore Opens Up to Tech Giants

Grab Holdings Ltd. plans to hire for its digital banking joint venture in Singapore amid the roll out of services to the public later this year, as the Southeast Asian financial hub opens up its banking system to purely online players.

GXS Bank, the ride-hailing giant’s tie up with Singapore Telecommunications Ltd., continues “to recruit talent across the technology, fintech and banking sectors to fill roles across all business functions, digital and technology teams, and banking operations,” Chief Executive Officer Charles Wong said in response to Bloomberg inquiries.
