Mirae Asset to invest $100 million in Space X

Mirae Asset Financial Group will invest $100 million in Space X to become the first South Korean investor of Elon Musk’s spacecraft company. For the investment, Mirae Asset Securities will inject about 100 billion won ($75.5 million) into a fund, dubbed “Mirae Asset Global Space Investment No.1”, to be managed by Mirae Asset Capital. Its fund will be used for Space X’s space rocket development and satellite internet constellation Starlink.
